Network is a group of computers which have an access directly to the main, central computer, which is called a server. There are many advantages of network.
Firstly, it keeps us from wasting our money to the extra hardware components. With the help of network only one printer or modem can be common to all computers in a common line. You will not have to worry about writing on a computer which doesn't have a printer or modem.
Secondly, it makes a great convenience to all the users. If you have something in a server to work on and you want somebody to do it, it's good to just send it through the wire to the computer where a desired person is working at. It is more comfortable than calling everyone to the server and have others work.
Thirdly, portability of network is greatly accepted in academic process. If a teacher wants to take a computer-based test from students, s/he will need to include tests to all computers. This can be done effectively fast with the help of network. What s/he has to do will be only install the test to the main computer and send it to all computers in line.
Since no part of technology is without disadvantages, there are numbers of disadvantages of network.
